which champions, the L87YC? I use them too and have no problem's at all until now. My mother also uses them and she also doesn't have any problem's. Maybe, you used the wronf temperature plugs?

I´m going back to the ngk...the champion last less than the ngk.The champion started to show wear only after 15k km and the ngk normaly do 25k km without any problems.I thought the champions where better because I use them on my other cars (a 1972 Triumph gt6 and a 1953 Morris Minor) and always had good experiences with them...

The NGK BP6HS equals the Champion L87Y, but those are ment for 850cc engines. The 1108cc engines use Champion L92Y(C). I personally never had problems with Champion, but I've had problems with Bosch plugs.
